Post revolution, Egypt was facing significant economic challenges and was planning a conference with a set date – March 2015 – to call for donations and support for the economy

Redesigned conference concept moving from “Donation” based to an “investment” based conference that is telling the Egypt Investment Story

Detailed conference strategy, objectives, KPIs and positioning, culminating all the previous in marketing material to all stakeholders

Built and populated org and team structure – including sourcing, evaluating, contracting financial, communication and event advisors

‘surgical’ intervention to redesign and implement invitation approach

Program managed content development for the conference including investment opportunities selection/ packaging, sector action plans by ministries, economic strategy and country vision

Liaised with ministers and Presidency office to monitor progress, escalate issues and propose corrective actions

An unprecedented event brought together 5,000+ people representing 800 companies and 70 countries

The event was attended by global business leaders and CEOs including those of Siemens, GE, Coca Cola, ENI, British Petroleum, among others
